Two jawans critical as militants attack camp in J&K’s Pulwama

Srinagar: Two jawans of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) sustained critical injuries after militants attacked the security forces camp in Newa area in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The critically injured jawans were identified as Amit Kumar and Santosh Bharti of 183 Battalion of the CRPF. Reportedly, they are undergoing treatment in the hospital and their condition is stated to be critical.

According to sources, the terrorist attacked the CRPF camp following which two Jawans sustained critical injuries. Soon after the attack, the security forces have launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
