Bolangir: Two women suffered injuries after a huge portion of their room ceiling collapsed in the Municipality colony in Bolangir district on Saturday.
The injured have been identified as Gayatri Kumbhar and Arati Kumbhar.
According to reports, a portion of a room ceiling suddenly caved in today morning. Subsequently, both sustained grievous injuries.
The injured persons were immediately rushed to Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital in Balangir and later shifted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
