Bhubaneswar: Police have arrested two persons for allegedly stealing mobile phones and bikes at Chandrashekharpur in Bhubaneswar.
The arrestees have been identified as Toofan Nayak of Niladri vihar and Manglu Sahu.
Reportedly, ASI Basanta Kumar Pradhan intercepted the duo at Damana Square over suspicion. However, they failed to produce valid documents of the bike.
Following this, police took them to the police station. During interrogation, the duo confessed that they are professional bike lifters. The cops also recovered a stolen bike and three mobile phones from their possession.
A case has been registered and the accused have been forwarded to the court, sources said.
