Two held for attack on fast food shop owner in city

Bhubaneswar: Kharavela Nagar police arrested two persons on charges of vandalizing a fast food shop and attacking the shop owner in the city on Monday.

The accused has been identified as Alok Kumar Dora and Aswini Kumar Mohanty of Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh respectively.

According to sources, Alok and Aswini had gone to the fast-food shop of one Bala Reddy at the Station area yesterday. An altercation ensued between the duo and Reddy over Chicken Pakodas.

Later, the fight turned ugly and the accused duo began to vandalize the shop. In a fit of rage, Alok and Aswin also attacked Reddy. Reddy sustained critical injuries on his head.

On being informed Kharavela Nagar police reached the spot and rushed Reddy to a hospital. Police also arrested Alok and Aswin from the spot.
