Bhubaneswar: As many as two Block Development Officers (BDOs) and a Junior Engineer (JE) have been placed under suspension by the State government for their alleged involvement in corruption.
While Jharigaon BDO Debendra Bahadur Singh and JE Sunil Samal have been suspended on charges of irregularities in toilet construction under Swachh Bharat Mission, BDO Lariman Kharsel of Chitrakonda block in Malkangiri district suspended for involvement in gross irregularities in execution of Individual Household Latrines (IHHLs) programme.
These officers have been asked not to leave the headquarters without prior permission from the concerned authorities.
