Bhubaneswar: Police on Monday seized a huge cache of brown sugar from Laxmisagar area in the state capital and arrested a person in this connection.
The arrestee has been identified as Khirod Sahu.
Acting on a tip-off, Laxmisagar police conducted a raid and seized contraband from him. The estimated value of the seized contraband is Rs 25 Lakh, police informed.
Further investigation is underway in this regard, the police said.
