Twin City CP Asks Companies To Submit Staff List To Check Lockdown Violators

Bhubaneswar: In order to check the lockdown violators, the Twin City Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi today asked the companies to submit a list (with DCP office) of their staff coming to office.

The decision came after many people were seen violating lockdown norms by misusing their identity cards and roaming freely during lockdown/ shutdown in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

Along with the names of the employees, the companies have been asked to submit details of the staffers including name of the organistaion, address, and shift timings.

Besides, the Twin City Police Commissioner has also asked the companies to issue authorisation letter for the staff.

As per reports, the State is witnessing more than 10,000 cases of COVID-19 daily, while the deaths due to the infection is on rise. In such a situation, despite the announcement of lockdown and shutdown across the state, there are uncontrollable crowds on the streets. To avoid this, the CP today issued the direction.
