Sundergarh: Truck owners’ association observed a dawn-to-dusk bandh in Sundergarh town demanding hike in coal freight charges.
The truck owners are observing a 6 AM to 6 PM bandh demanding a hike in the coal transportation tariff and loading of cargo on a first come first serve basis.
They have blocked Rani Bagicha Bypass, College Bypass, and Tollgate Bypass, the three entrances to Sundergarh.
As a result, vehicular traffic has been hit and the transportation of coal from the MCL coal mine has been affected.
