Trainee OASIs relieved till May 15: Odisha Police

Cuttack: In view of COVID-19 situation, those undergoing ASIs’ course of training have been given a break from the institutional training from April 24 till May 16, 2021.

They will be relieved on 23.04.2021 evening after 6.00 PM. The trainee OASIs will report back to the respective Training Institutes on 16.05.2021 (Sunday). The trainee OASIs will be attached to Police Station for practical training for these three weeks w.e.f 24.04.2021 till 15.05.2021, the Odisha Police State Headquarters in Cuttack said in a letter to the Principals of Principals, PTC, Angul / PTS, Nayagarh / UPTTI, Bhubaneswar/ Supdt. of Police, PTI, Byree/ Commandants, BT1, Burla/ AET, Koraput.

These three weeks will be deducted from their two months Police Station practical training, which they are required to do as per Para 7 of Odisha Police Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Assistant Sub-Inspectors) Order, 2020.

For the Police Station training, the OASIS coming from police districts including UPD Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, GRP Cuttack, Rourkela shall report to the respective district from which they had come to the training centre.

All Other OASIs coming from other establishments shall report to the District mentioned against their Establishments. District SsP will attach them to specific Police Stations by a District Order, the letter further read.
