Mumbai: After hard hitting the audience with the teaser of upcoming flick Kedarnath, the makers today unveiled the trailer of the film at an event in Mumbai.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film goes with the tagline ‘Love is pilgrimage’ and mainly revolves around the 14 kilometre-long journey from Gauri Kund to the Kedarnath shrine.
The film which marks the debut of Sara Ali Khan and also presents the second association of Abhisekh Kapoor with Ronnie Screwvala along with Sushant Singh Rajput after Kai Po Che.
In the trailer, Sushant was seen playing a cheerful and hard-working Muslim pithoo (porter) who carries the devotees on his back to the Kedarnath shrine for livelihood whereas Sara was seen a bubbly Hindu devotee who falls in love with her bearer.
Before the release of the trailer, the makers had released the first song ‘Namo Namo’ from the film on Dhanteras which was an audio and visual delight.
The film that was originally scheduled to release in June this year, will now hit the theatres on December 7.
