TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) hosted Innovation Day 2025 at its corporate office in Berhampur.
The event, themed “T&D Innovation Carnival,” marked World Creativity and Innovation Day and featured an array of cutting-edge projects developed across departments such as Network Engineering, Plant Engineering, and Safety.
CEO Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, who inaugurated the event alongside his leadership team, emphasised the significance of innovation in transforming the power sector. “Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at TPSODL,” he said, adding, “Together, we are building a brighter and more reliable energy future for everyone.”
The carnival served as a platform for employees to share transformative ideas, showcasing initiatives like smart automation controllers, improved SCADA systems, LT automation, and advanced protection mechanisms aimed at preventing disruptions.
Exhibitions, panel discussions, and interactive sessions fostered a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, underlining TPSODL’s commitment to delivering safe and reliable electricity. As the first utility in Odisha to implement SCADA-enabled Area Power System Control Centres (APSCCs), TPSODL is leading the way in operational efficiency and real-time monitoring.
