Tokyo: India’s Mixed Doubles duo of Pramod Bhagat and Palak Kohli lost their bronze medal match of the Tokyo Paralympics.
Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara & Akiko Sugino won 23-21, 21-19 and claim third spot in the Mixed Doubles (SL3-SU5).
The Indians were leading at one point but the Japanese fought back in the 1st round.
The second-half of the second game was another closely fought affair with the Indians fighting back to go level on scores but the Japanese pair eventually won the second game 21-19 and win the bronze medal match 2-0.
