Tokyo: While Ravi Dahiya booked a berth in the finals of Men’s Freestyle Wrestling 57kg, wrestler Deepak Punia lost in the Men’s 86kg freestyle semi-final against David Taylor who was far superior in the fight.
Taylor finished the match 10-0 to reach the final. Deepak Punia had no chance whatsoever against Taylor as he was completely dominated by the American.
Deepak Punia was dominated by David Morris Taylor of the USA in the Men’s 86kg freestyle semi-final and lost 10-0 on technical superiority.
Punia will now have to fight for the bronze.
