Kolkata: Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Sekhar Ray has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding de-classification of Netaji Files.
His demand comes days ahead of 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
It is worthwhile to note that the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had asked the Union government to declare Netaji Jayanti as a national holiday.
The BJP-led government on January 19 announced that January 23 will be celebrated as “Parakram Diwas’ every year.
