Three receiving-cum-screening centres in Bhubaneswar for returnees
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has set up three receiving-cum-screening centres at three transit points of the State Capital.
The three transit points are now functional to manage returnees to Bhubaneswar in view of COVID-19. These are planned as per the root ways from Puri, Cuttack and Khordha.
- Returnees from Khordha side will be received at Tapobana high school at Khandagiri area.
- Returnees from Cuttack side will be received at Ashram School Rasulgarh and,
- Returnees from Puri side will be received at Krupajal Engineering College.
The returnees will be registered in respective transit point where their thermal screening will be done by the doctors available in trasint point round the clock.
Persons belong to the BMC limit are being referred to quarantine facilities.
Besides, other district authorities are being contacted to arrange transport for the returnees of their respective districts.
This is a 24-hour service facility under three ZDCs of BMC.
