Three Killed In Separate Road Mishaps In Odisha

Bolangir/Balasore: At least three persons were killed in two separate road mishaps in Odisha. While one incident was reported from Bolangir district, another was witnessed in Balasore district.

In the first incident, one person was killed while two others sustained grievous injuries after the motorcycle they were riding rammed into a stationary tipper near Bhanusagar canal in Patnagarh’s Bramhapur on NH 42.

The deceased was identified as Chaitanya Barlendiya (44) of Tikapali and the injured persons, Gurubaru Thela (22) of Bhatisalapada and Tapan Sand (18) of Kadepada, have been shifted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bolangir.

Police have registered a case and initiated a probe.

In a similar incident in Balasore, two bikers were killed after their vehicle met with an accident near Kanpur chhak in Soro late last night. Identities of the youths are yet to be ascertained.
