Three Killed, 1 Critical In Separate Road Mishaps In Odisha

Bhadrak/Dhenkanal: Three persons were killed while one was critically injured in two separate road mishaps in Bhadrak and Dhenkanal districts of Odisha.

In one incident, two youths were killed while one sustained critical injuries after their motorcycle was hit by a truck on National Highway-16 near Kaharapokhari under Bhandaripokhari police limits in Bhadrak district.

The injured youth was shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack.

In another mishap, a motorcycle rider was killed after he rammed into a car in front of a liquor shop on National Highway-55 near Kanteikolia in Dhenkanal district last night.

Reportedly, the deceased, identified as Jagamohan Pradhan (45) of Paikdahikhor, was on his way from Gobindpur to Dhenkanal when he rammed into the car standing in front of the liquor shop.

He was immediately rushed in a PCR van to Dhenkanal district headquarters hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
