Sambalpur: At least three persons were injured in a road mishap after a speeding truck rammed into an ambulance on Burla-Mahanadi Bridge in Sambalpur district.
Reportedly, the incident took place while the ambulance was en route to Burla from Rourkela when a truck hit rammed into hit the ambulance from the rear. Following this, the occupants of the emergency vehicle sustained grievous injuries.
On receiving information, police along with the fire personnel reached the spot and rescued the injured trio.
Later, the injured persons were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
