Sonepur: At least three persons sustained critical injuries following a collision between a pick-up van and a vegetable-laden truck near Singhijuba on Binika-Barpali Road this morning.
According to sources, the three injured, the driver and helper of the pick-up van and helper of the truck sustained serious injuries. They are reportedly admitted to a nearby hospital.
Following the accident, hundreds of vehicles were seen stranded on both sides of the road as vehicular movement on the route was disrupted for several hours after a tree uprooted and fell in the middle of the road.
