Temperature To Rise By 3-5°C In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to witness a rise in temperature by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, the Regional Meteorological Centre of the IMD predicted on Saturday.
The weather department took to its social media handle to share the news and wrote: “Daytime temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state.”
The weather bureau has issued heat wave Yellow Warning for several districts of the State. The nine districts include Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri districts.
Notably, Bhubaneswar recorded a maximum day temperature of 40.8 degrees Celsius on Friday. Similarly, the mercury touched the 41 degree Celsius mark in Boudh and Paralakhemundi.
