Temperature Remains Below 40 Degrees Celsius Across Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In a major respite from the heatwave, the maximum day temperature remained below 40 degrees Celsius in most parts of Odisha.

Only Boudh station witnessed a temperature of 40.5 degrees Celsius, informed the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Center.

As per IMD’s evening bulletin, Bhubaneswar recorded 39.7  and Cuttack 37.2 degrees Celsius followed by Balasore 35 degrees Celsius, Chandbali 34.2 degrees Celsius, Paradip 32.3 degrees Celsius, Gopalpur 34.2 degrees Celsius, Puri 32.8 degrees Celsius, Angul 36.7 degrees Celsius, Baripada 36 degrees Celsius, Jharsuguda 35.4 degrees Celsius.

Besides, the maximum temperature recorded at Keonjhar is 33.8 degrees Celsius, followed by 36.2 degrees in Sambalpur, 34 degrees in Sundergarh, 35.3 degrees in Hirakud, and 37.3 degrees in Talcher.

Similarly, Bhawanipatna recorded 36.8 degrees Celsius, Bolangir 39.2 degrees Celsius, Koraput 31.5 degrees Celsius, Phulbani 35.6 degrees Celsius, Titlagarh 39.5 degrees Celsius, Malkangiri 37 degrees Celsius, Sonepur 38.2 degrees Celsius, Daringbadi 33 degrees Celsius, Nayagarh 37 degrees Celsius, Chhatrapur 33.4 degrees Celsius and Paralakhemundi recorded 39 degrees Celsius.
