A 25-year-old student from Telangana, who had travelled to the United Kingdom for higher studies last year, was found dead in his room in London, leaving his family searching for answers about the circumstances surrounding his death.

The student, identified as S. Srinath Reddy, was a resident of Talamadla village in Tadvai mandal of Kamareddy district, Telangana.

Family Awaits Answers

According to his family, Srinath had been living in London for nearly 14 months while pursuing higher education.

His father, Madhusudhan Reddy, said the family has not yet received complete information about how the incident occurred.

The family has appealed to both the Central Government and the Telangana Government to help bring Srinath’s body back to his hometown at the earliest.

They have also requested authorities to coordinate with British officials and ensure a thorough investigation into the incident.

Last Conversation With Family

Family members said Srinath attended a friend’s birthday celebration in London on the night of June 22.

Later that evening, he spoke to his family over the phone.

According to his father, Srinath sounded cheerful during the conversation, and there were no signs that anything was wrong.

The next morning, the family received the devastating news of his death.

Roommate Reportedly Found Him

A relative of the family, whose son also lives in London, said Srinath’s roommate discovered him in the room on June 23.

According to information shared with the family, the student was allegedly found hanging.

The family has also raised concerns over the reported delay in informing Srinath’s friends about the incident.

His father said this delay has created several unanswered questions regarding the circumstances of the death.

Police Investigation Underway

London police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Authorities have not yet announced the official cause of death.

The investigation is expected to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the student’s death.

Village Mourns Loss

Srinath’s sudden death has deeply affected his family and residents of Talamadla village.

Community members have expressed their condolences while hoping that the investigation provides clear answers and that his body is returned to India soon so the family can perform the final rites.
