Hyderabad: A medical student, who attempted suicide after being harassed by her senior at Kakatiya Medical College, died on Sunday night.
As per reports, D Preethi had attempted suicide on Wednesday allegedly after being harassed by her senior at the College. She was found unconscious after working the night shift at MGM Hospital and moved to Hyderabad in a critical condition.
Following the incident, a second-year post-graduate student was arrested by the police on charges of ragging, abetment to suicide and harassment under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
