Raipur: A 16-year-old girl was stabbed and dragged by her hair on a road by a man she had refused to marry in Chhattisgarh. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the man, Omkar Tiwari, dragged the badly wounded teen by her hair.
When the video emerged on a social media platform, the police launched an investigation and arrested the accused.
Reportedly, the girl is believed to be in a critical state in a government hospital.
On Saturday evening, Tiwari, allegedly drunk, barged into the girl’s home and started shouting at the family. He allegedly attacked the girl with a knife and stabbed her in the neck. She tried to run away but Tiwari chased her and dragged her by her hair until she collapsed on the road.
