Cuttack: Police here on Monday arrested a teacher for allegedly molesting and attempting to rape a girl student. The incident was reported from Madhupatna area in the district.
As per reports, the teacher had called the student to a hotel on the pretext of an examination and attempted to sexually assault her.
The matter came to fore after she narrated the ordeal to her parents. Later, the family members of the victim lodged a complaint at Madhupatna Police Station in this regard.
