Koraput: Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation of Odisha Ltd (TDCCOL) has set up a processing & warehousing facility at Sunabeda in Koraput for curing parchment & cherry coffee, clean coffee grading and storage.
TDCCOL Managing Director Mansi Nimbhal said, “TDCCOL will directly procuring parchment & cherry from small & marginal tribal farmers through aggregation centres on mutually agreed price with direct beneficiary transfer (DBT).” She also stated that the micro testing lab will be set up soon.
TDCCOL has at least 11 exclusive Tribal World Outlets in six districts in the State apart from a dedicated mobile shop i.e. Tribals on Wheels.
The 11 Retail outlets of TDCCOL, named ‘ADISHA’, are selling Koraput Coffee in premium packaging even through e-commerce adisha.in and amazon.in.
TDCCOL with Coffee Board of India is providing end to end solution for boosting the growth of coffee plantation and smallholder planters.
