Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of the kin of the deceased and free treatment for the injured in the tragic bus mishap that took place in Taptapani Ghat of Ganjam district today.
The Chief Minister expressed deep grief at the death of seven-passenger in the bus mishap.
Taking to his micro-blogging site, Patnaik conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Wishing speedy recovery to the victim the CM said, all medical expenses regarding the treatment of the victims will be borne by the state government.
ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ତପ୍ତପାଣି ଘାଟି ବସ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା ଖବର ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୁଃଖଦାୟକ। ଏଥିରେ ପ୍ରାଣ ହରାଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ପ୍ରତି ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସହ ସମସ୍ତ ଆହତଙ୍କ ଆଶୁଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କାମନା କରୁଛି। ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଏବଂ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଘଟଣାର ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ଆହତଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ବହନ କରିବେ।

As many as seven persons were killed and 40 others were injured after a bus carrying them skidded off a bridge near Palukhola in Taptapani Ghat of Ganjam district in the wee hours today.
While the identities of all the deceased are yet to be ascertained, the rescue operation is still underway.
