Sunita Williams To Address Earth From Space Today

Washington: Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams and her colleague will be delivering a live address from the International Space Station (ISS) to Earth on Wednesday, July 10, at 11 AM EDT (8:30 pm IST).

Sunita Williams and Barry “Butch” Wilmore, NASA astronauts, were launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on June 5 aboard a Boeing Starliner. Originally, their return to Earth via the Starliner was scheduled for June 22, but it was postponed to an undetermined date due to a series of helium leaks on the spacecraft, which NASA engineers are currently addressing.

Media are invited to join Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams as they discuss their Crew Flight Test mission during an Earth-to-space call at 11 am ET on July 10.

The Boeing Starliner can remain docked at the space station for up to 45 days. With over 35 days elapsed, the spacecraft has around 10 days left to return safely to Earth. A new return date is yet to be announced.
