Puri: International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Wednesday congratulated legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on being selected for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2019.
Pattnaik congratulated the Shahenshah of Bollywood by sculpting a sand art at Puri sea beach. He also shared the same on his Twitter.

Amitabh Bachchan will receive India’s highest film honour Dadasaheb Phalke Award, informed the Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday.
Considered as one of the finest actors in India, Bachchan has been entertaining the country since several decades.
Star of the Millennium, or Big B, he appeared in over 190 Indian films in a career spanning almost five decades.
He first gained popularity in the early 1970s for films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar and Sholay, and was dubbed India’s “angry young man” for his on-screen roles in Bollywood.
Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema as well as world cinema. Beyond the Indian subcontinent, he also has a large overseas following in markets including Africa (such as South Africa), the Middle East (especially Egypt), United Kingdom, Russia and parts of the United States.
Bachchan has won numerous accolades in his career, including four National Film Awards as Best Actor and many awards at international film festivals and award ceremonies. He has won fifteen Filmfare Awards and is the most nominated performer in any major acting category at Filmfare, with 41 nominations overall.
