State-level training on National Children’s Science Congress held


Bhubaneswar: A state-level training on National Children’s Science Congress- 2019, Odisha was organised by Doon International School here today.

The programme was inaugurated by NCSC Odisha Chairman RN Ray. The theme of the programme was Science, Technology and Innovation for a clean, green and healthy nation.

Doon International School Principal Arun Kumar Pati, who is also the Academic Coordinator of NCSC, delivered his welcome speech. Ashish Ku Mohanty, Academic Coordinator of NCSC introduced the Guests on the dais to the audience, who were mostly teachers of different schools of BBSR and Cuttack.

After the release of the Project Book-2018, Ray spoke on accessibility and equity. He insisted on regular organisation of such a programme and encouraged participation at national and international level.

Kavita Ray, Chief Coordinator of NCSC, Odisha expressed her gratitude to the organisers and the Management of the school for organizing such an important event.

Sunil Kumar Rath, joint coordinator of NCSC, extended vote of thanks to the Principal, the Vice-Principal and all the teachers who were part of the Training Programme.

Praising the Chairman for his incessant effort and achievement in this connection, he said, “This is a Movement that can take National Science Congress to greater heights.” He also inspired Ray tagging her as “Champion of Women’s cause” and the School Principal Pati  as “The right man in the right place.”
