Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Monday informed that devotees are not required to carry double-dose vaccination certificates to visit the temple.

The decision has been taken at the Chhattisha Nijog meeting held in Puri today following deliberation on the devotees’ sentiments and the current Covid situation.

SJTA Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar said that the final vaccination certificate is not mandatory for entry into the Shree Jagannath Temple as most of the people have been vaccinated in the country as of now.

“Devotees can visit the temple from February 21 without carrying their double-dose vaccination certificate. Also, devotes are not needed to take RTPCR certificate to go inside the temple,” the SJTA Chief further said.
