Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday approved a special labour rate for post-cyclone ‘Yaas’ restoration works.
According to the Energy Department, the special labour rate has been approved for the post-cyclone ‘YAAS’ restoration works of the damaged electrical infrastructure to be undertaken by the DISCOMs and OPTCL.
The rates are applicable for the post ‘YAAS’ restoration works only.
- Unskilled Labour – Rs 462
- Semi-Skilled Labour – Rs 522
- Skilled – Rs 597
These higher rates shall not be allowed for the works undertaken under existing rate contracts for mobilisation of materials, equipment and etc, the letter from the Energy Department.
