Bhubaneswar: The collapse of civic amenities, drainage facilities in the Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar has spurred disappointment among the residents.
Neglect in maintenance has led to a complete breakdown of the facilities which leads to an awful situation in the smart city’s Nayapalli area.
Reportedly, the drain water spilled all over the roads due to which Residents of Nyapalli have to deal with several problems. It becomes hard to commute for residents during the rain. A thick layer of mud, solid waste and debris could be seen blocking roads and drains.
The residents alleged that BMC has started the drain maintenance work However, it’s been a year, and the work is yet not completed. Meanwhile, drains of Behersahi were also left half constructed. Three of the four main roads in Nayapalli are also closed.
Even after a pile of allegations regarding the problems, the trouble of the residents left unheard, locals said.
