Cuttack: At least six persons were apprehended by the police for allegedly diverting patients from SCB Medical College and Hospital to private hospitals in Cuttack city.
This had been informed by DCP Prateek Singh.
The accused persons’ identities were not revealed immediately.
Reportedly, the touts including ambulance drivers used to divert the patients to other private hospitals from SCB.
It is suspected that other hospital staffs were also involved in this illegal activity and they will be nabbed soon, Singh added.
