Karnataka: Police here have detained two persons for allegedly throwing water bottle at singer Kailash Kher during the closing ceremony of Hampi Utsav at Hampi on Sunday.
As per reports, the incident occurred at Hampi Utsav which commenced on January 27. Besides Kailash Kher, singers Arjun Jannya, Vijaya Prakash, Raghu Dikshit, Ananya Bhatt and Arman Malik also took part in the ceremony.
The Hampi Utsav was set up at four stages — Gayatri Peetha, Eduru Basavanna vedike, Hampi Virupaksheshwar vedike and Sasuvekalu vedike.
The three-day Hampi Utsav concluded on Sunday.
According to police, the men were reportedly upset as Kher was not singing Kannada songs.
