Similipal National Park Reopens For Tourists

Mayurbhanj: Similipal National Park, which was closed for three continuous days due to heavy rainfall, reopened for visitors from today.

According to reports, the decision was taken as a precautionary measure for the tourists. However, the tourists were allowed for an overnight stay.

The Similipal National Park comprising the Similipal Tiger Reserve (STR) located in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district is spread over 2,750 sq km, famous for its flawless beauty due to its variety of plants and animals, which attracts tourists.

The tourists can book tickets to visit the national park online by logging into websites www.ecotourodisha.com, www.similipal.com, and odishatourism.gov.in.
