Keonjhar: A shopkeeper was allegedly thrashed to death by a truck driver over an argument at Nuagaon chowk under Ramachandrapur police limits in Keonjhar district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Dilip Behera, who has a shop at Nuagaon chowk.
According to reports, the incident occured while a truck had arrived for some repairing at a garage situated near his shop when an argument had broken out between the truck driver and Behera over some issue. In a fit of rage, the truck driver attacked Behera on his head leaving him critically injured.
Behera was immediately by locals to Anandpur Sub-Divisional Hospital. He was being shifted to Cuttack when he died on the way.
