New Delhi: Shaheen Bagh protesters have confirmed that they will meet the Home Minister tomorrow at 2 pm after the latter said he is willing to meet them.
Home Minister Amit Shah said anyone having a problem with the law should come and meet him. The protesters said they will meet Shah at his residence.
The Home Minister said: “The Citizenship (Amendment) Act has no provision that deprives anyone of citizenship, or that it is anti-Muslim or anti-minority. Gandhiji himself insisted that non-Muslims of Pakistan who faced persecution there should be given respect, dignity and citizenship in India”.
