Shaheen Bagh Case: SC asks parties to lower temperatures on issue


New Delhi: The Supreme Court deferred the hearing on Shaheen Bagh to March 23 and advised that it’s “time for all parties to lower temperatures” on the issue.

Senior advocates Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran were acting as mediators to find out an amicable solution to the issue.

They  were given the responsibility to persuade the protesters to continue their agitation in another location. The ongoing protests has posed problem for the commuters.

The Shaheen Bagh protests have  hugged the headlines worldwide and inspired protests across the country.

Hundreds of men, women and children were protesting on the road for over a month against the CAA.
