Shah Rukh Khan, Other B-Town Celebs Laud BCCI’s Decision Of Equal Pay For Both Men And Women Cricketers


New Delhi: Anushka Sharma, superstar Shah Rukh Khan Taapsee Pannu, and Preity Zinta among others have lauded the BCCI’s decision of equal pay to both male and female cricketers.

For unversed, Earlier on Thursday (October 27), Jay Shah took to Twitter to announce the historic move along with a picture of the Indian women’s team with the Asia Cup trophy. He wrote, “I’m pleased to announce @BCCI’s first step towards tackling discrimination. We are implementing a pay equity policy for our contracted @BCCIWomen cricketers. The match fee for both Men and Women Cricketers will be same as we move into a new era of gender equality in Cricket.”
