Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience rainfall between February 23 to 26, informed the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre today.
According to Met Officials, rain along with thunderstorm and gusty wind is predicted at several places across the state from February 23. Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Koenjhar and Mayurbhanj will experience light to moderate rain on February 23.
Similarly, light to moderate rain will be witnessed at several places in north interior Odisha and a few places of north coastal Odisha including Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh and in isolated parts in the rest of the State between February 24 and 25.
This apart, a yellow warning has been issued for the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Angul and Dhenkanal
Besides, heavy rain is predicted at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Bhadrak.
