Ganjam: As many as seven shops were sealed on Tuesday for allegedly violating COVID-19 guidelines in Chhatrapur of Ganjam district.
As per reports, the local administration conducted a surprise raid and found several people without masks, flouting COVID-19 norms.
Following this, police sealed seven shops including a private finance company for 15 days. The officials also imposed fines on the shops.
Notably, the Odisha government has declared a 14-days lockdown across the state from May 5 in order to break the chain of COVID-19 infection.
