Angul: Days after testing positive for COVID-19, a 70-year-old man allegedly committed suicide. The incident was reported from Angul district.
The deceased has been identified as Jagabandh Bagh of Kathapal village under Chhendipada police limits.
As per Additional Tehsildar of Angul Prakash Nayak, Jagabandh had developed COVID-19 symptoms two days back, his family took him for test. As Bagh tested positive for coronavirus, his family put him in isolation in a room outside.
However, Jagabandh was found dead on Tuesday morning.
