Cuttack: Senior resident doctors of Cuttack’s SCB Medical College and Hospital launched a protest in front of the hospital premises demanding NEET PG counseling in the state.

According to reports, the indoor and outdoor patient care services have stopped at SCB due to the ongoing protest. However, the emergency services at the hospital remain unaffected.

Meanwhile, the resident doctors are protesting nationwide over the delay in the NEET-PG Counseling. The resident doctors also alleged police brutality during a march in Delhi.

It is pertinent to be mentioned here that the NEET-PG examination was held in September, but the counselling process has not been conducted yet because of cases pending in the Supreme Court over reservations for the economically weaker section.
