Bhubaneswar: The district administrations of two Odisha districts of Jajpur and Jagatsinghpur have clamped Section 144 in the premises of different temples and Mosques to restrict the congregation of public during the ongoing lockdown.
The Jajpur district administration said in an order imposed the restrictions at Biraja temple, while the same has been clamped on all Hindu temple in Jagatsinghpur district. It will remain in force for the whole day on Friday on account of Savitri Brata.
Besides, the prohibitory order has been clamped in all mosques and darghas in Jagatsinghpur district and will remain in force from May 24 to 26. The administration clamped Section 144 in and around Mosques and more than four persons will not be allowed to gather in and around all Mosques during this period.
