Nuapada: The sarpanch candidate of Sunarisikuan (Khadial block) was found in an unconscious state with limbs tied with ropes in Nuapada.
The victim has been identified as Chulamani Baitharu.
According to reports, Baitharu was missing since last night. Later some locals spotted him lying in an unconscious state with his hands & legs tied with ropes nearly 1 km away from his home. He was admitted to the hospital in Bolangir.
The exact cause and culprit behind this incident are yet to be ascertained. Till the last reports came in, his health condition was said to be stable.
