Salepur: Job aspirants allege of being duped of lakhs

Salepur: The Japakuda Women’s (Degree) College Managing Committee President has landed in trouble after job aspirants levelled duping allegations on him.

According to the complaints the accused, identified as Bijayakrushna Mishra, collected money from the job aspirants, youths, promising them jobs at various posts in the college in Salepur, Cuttack.

He allegedly duped at least 25 persons of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of providing jobs.

The accused had also handed over fake joining letters to the victims.

The matter came into light when the job aspirants sought a refund and lodged a complaint with the police.

On the other hand, the accused person has refuted the charges and further alleged that the complaint is an intentional attempt to tarnish his image, sources said.

A probe into the incident is underway, sources added.
