Bhubaneswar: The ruckus in Odisha Assembly is expected to continue on day 3, as inaction continues over Governor son’s issue. Unrest in Odisha assembly is expected on Wednesday, as the opposition is sure to raise the matter of the Governor’s son yet again.
The issue of manhandling the ASO may come up again in the Assembly today. The opposition raised this issue as soon as the house started yesterday. Congress member Tara Prasad Bahinipati on Monday, went up to the well of the house and chanted anti-government slogans. He asked where BJP’s ‘Odiya Asmita’ had gone. Within 2-3 minutes, both BJD and Congress members staged a walk out during the Governor’s speech.
However, the opposition leader Naveen Patnaik had targeted the state government and said that, “My party and I were disappointed and surprised that the present government has taken no action against the Governor’s son.” He added that the party was, “deeply shocked by this.”
