RPF Personnel Attacked During Raid At Brick Kiln In Bhadrak

Bhadrak: At least two Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawans sustained critical injuries after they were attacked by unidentified miscreants during raid at a brick kiln in Palaspur village under Tihidi police limits in Bhadrak district today.

The injured personnel have been identified as Mukesh Kumar and Purnachandra Panda.

Acting on the feedback from different sources about the theft of coal from trains, an eight-member team from the RPF Crime Branch of the Khurda Division, carried out the joint operation at a brick kiln in Palaspur. During the raid, some unidentified miscreants attacked the officers.

Following the attack, two officers sustained serious injuries. They were rescued and initially admitted to Tihidi Community Health Centre (CHC). Later, the duo was shifted to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) as their conditions worsened.
