Bhubaneswar: The Rourkela-Jharsuguda passenger train has become operational on Saturday after staying out of service since long.
The passenger special Up train 68601 left Rourkela at 8.20 and reached Jharsuguda at 10.50. A down train from Jharsuguda left at 11.15 for Rourkela and reached there at 1.45 in the afternoon.
Passengers from Dhutura, Arda, Sarasmal, Saraspalli, Sialrama, Bandpali, Kirmira,Laikera, Sahaspur, Bagadiha, Bamara, Dharuadiha, Gadaposha, Kuchinda, Kansbahal, Kalunga, Tangarmunda, Sagra,Rajgangpur, Panposh, Sundargarh and Jharsuguda will benefit from the special passenger train service.
The Rourkela-Jharsuguda passenger train service comes under Chakradharpur railway division of SE Railways.
